I have a small greenhouse, about 12 X 10 and some other junk is stored in there, but I also have to many plants that can fit in there over the winter. Some I know can stay out, but some I'm not sure of. I live in Irving, TX so winter isn't really brutal, but it can get cold here. So the planrs in question are Japanese maples, 3 varieties, Hibiscus, 2 varieties. I have "hardy hibiscus that I know will winter well and come back up in the spring, but unsure of the others. Also there is a banana tree. I have heard they can be wrapped for winter in plastics and/or newspapers. If they won't make it out of the greenhouse can I wrap them with blankets or plastics? Some have gotten just to heavy too. The maples are not to large yet, but still rather expensive and they belong not to me, but an older lady I live with. I would hate to see them die off. Thanks for the spam Lonnie B. Now we can get Yahoo to cancel your account to stop that kind of nonsense.... Read More »
